This file contains the URL visited, along with the date of the visit and an expiration date determining the period of the cookie’s activity. Cookies are used by ndF, on one hand, to determine the preferred areas visited on ndF websites, and on the other hand, to allow the user to secure their personal settings so that they are available again on the next visit to the page. ndF utilizes content or service offerings from third-party providers within this website based on the legitimate interests of ndF (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offerings within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) DS-GVO to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter collectively referred to as “content”).

 

This always requires that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users, as they could not send the content to their browser without the IP address. The IP address is thus required for the presentation of this content. ndF endeavors to only use content from providers who use the IP address solely for the purpose of delivering the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. Through “pixel tags,” information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website can be evaluated. ndF embeds maps from the “Google Maps” service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The processed data may include IP addresses and user location data, which, however, will not be collected without their consent (usually within the settings of their mobile devices). The data may be processed in the USA.

ndF maintains online presences within social networks and platforms to communicate with active customers, prospects, and users there and to inform them about our services. When accessing the respective networks and platforms, the terms of service and data processing policies of their respective operators apply.

 

Unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy, ndF processes user data if they communicate with ndF within social networks and platforms, for example by posting contributions on ndF’s online presences or sending messages to ndF.

ndF offers the option to contact ndF via email and write messages, which, at the user’s choice, may contain additional personal data beyond the disclosure of the sender’s email address (e.g., first and last name, title, address, phone number, email text, context of the inquiry). The user solely decides on the nature and extent of the information disclosed beyond the email address.

 

The data will not be used for other purposes or disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent. Our subsidiaries may be an exception to this, if necessary to fulfill your request. Unless there are legal retention obligations, your personal data will be deleted after the matter has been resolved.

Access data (see paragraph 1) will be deleted when their knowledge is no longer necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless legal provisions require longer storage. Access data is regularly stored for a period of 60 days.

Personal data collected using ndF’s email function (see paragraph 6) will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing, typically when the email inquiry has been conclusively processed.

The user has the following rights or claims. Their assertion will be promptly processed and will not lead to any disadvantages for the user.

In addition to the data protection authority responsible for ndF (see section 10 below), the supervisory authorities of the user’s habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged violation are competent.
