Broadcasting of the 19th season of the long-running ZDF series starts in the beginning of 2026. In addition to Hans Sigl in the leading role, the cast includes Heiko Rupprecht, Monika Baumgartner, Ronja Forcher, Natalie O’Hara, Mark Keller, Rebecca Immanuel, Hilde Dalik, Lieselotte Voss, Frédéric Brossier, Barbara Lanz, Annika Ernst and Ylvi Unertl. The directors are Nicolai Müllerschön, Eva Wolf, Kerstin Ahlrichs and Tanja Roitzheim, the head writer is Philipp Roth. Producers are Matthias Walther and Katrin Frach.

Season 19 will be available for streaming on ZDF Streaming Portal as of January 1, 2026, and broadcast on Thursdays at 8:15 PM on ZDF, starting January 8, 2026.
