At the end of April 2022, filming began on the 10th season of the crime series featuring Lübeck police detectives Finn Kiesewetter (Sven Martinek) and Lars Englen (Ingo Naujoks). In addition to Englen and Kiesewetter, detective superintendent Nina Weiss (Julia E. Lenska) and detective superintendent Gregor Michalski (Jonas Minthe) are investigating. As usual, Dr. Henning Strahl (Christoph Tomanek) supports the team as a forensic pathologist.

“Murder in the North” is a production of ndF: Berlin GmbH on behalf of ARD-Werbung and ARD for Das Erste. Producer is Hans-Hinrich Koch, associate producer is Anna Neudert, dramaturges are Jens-Florian Groß and Marion Klann. The directors are Tanja Roitzheim, Michi Riebl, Christoph Eichhorn and Dirk Pientka.
