The “Aktenzeichen XY” family is growing and gets a new early-evening spin-off: “XY Spuren des Verbrechens” revisits well-known cases from “Aktenzeichen XY… Ungelöst”—and continues the story. Journalist Helene Reiner sheds light on the background, presents new findings, and, together with Fabian Puchelt from the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, offers viewers an exclusive look into police work.

The six episodes of the first season will be broadcast as of May 6, 2026, on Wednesdays at 7:25 PM. Furthermore, each episode will be available for streaming at 10 AM on its respective date of broadcasting.
