The Silent Revolution

In 1956 the graduation class of the high school in Storkow keeps spontaneously a minute of silcence to honor the victims of the ungarian uprising during their lesson. They get into the political observation of GDR. The young people should name the ringleaders or they have to leave the school. Against all odds, the class stands together and finally flees common in the West.

 

The script of Lars Kraume is based on the same named book of Dietrich Garstka.
