After a critically acclaimed first season, comedy series “Tschappel” will return with ten new episodes: Back from Australia, Carlo (Jeremias Meyer) faces chaos and trouble in his native village Hintervorderbach – where he has to consider whether he really wants to stay forever.

Apart from Jeremias Meyer, the show is starring Sebastian Doppelbauer, David Ali Rashed, Mina-Giselle Rüffer, Nina Gnädig, Bernd Gnann, and Bärbel Stolz. Among the supporting cast are Valentin Erb, Tijan Marei, Matthias Weidenhöfer, Kathrin Bauerfeind, Therese Hämer, Ulrike C. Tscharre, Fabian Rommel, Serdar Karibik, and Gerhard Jilka.

The new season was shot in Zußdorf and the surrounding area and directed by Marc Philip Ginolas and Marius Beck, based on screenplays by Beck, Ginolas, and Theresa Weininger.
